I am currently teaching in a school in East Sheffield and have taught Y3 and Y5. I joined the project because I was concerned that peers seemed to think that gender was somehow ‘sorted’. I also noticed that gendered ideas about play and roles seemed to be prevalent amongst pupils in my class. I am interested in SRE (sex and relationships education) and currently I am developing the SRE program for the whole school.
